About Us
Service learning is an innovative teaching and learning strategy that integrates service into course curricula. It highlights reflection, responds to compelling community needs, develops students’ academic skills, and fosters a culture of civic and social responsibility.
Service learning at HPU involves students working with nonprofit organizations and businesses in the community as part of their course work and University programs.
