Preliminary evaluation (early transcript evaluation): Hawai'i Pacific University offers early transcript evaluation for prospective international students.
- If you plan on transferring to HPU and would like to know how many of your current college credits can be transferred, email or fax us your official transcripts (must be original) and course descriptions (must be in English) with a written request for an early (unofficial) evaluation.
Allow 2-3 weeks for the preliminary evaluation to be completed. Please be aware that not all college credits may transfer; this is largely dependent on the school you attended, your field of study, your final grade point average, and the English language requirements.
Articulation Agreements: Hawai'i Pacific University has articulation agreements with various institutions throughout the world. We recognize and guarantee transfer credits for courses completed (with a grade of "C" or higher) from these universities.
- To find out if your current school has an articulation agreement with HPU, see your college counselor, or contact the International Center.
- Please note that due to a revision of HPU's General Education Program requirements, articulation agreements with school signed before January 2008, will be honored for all incoming transfer students who begin their studies at HPU before January 1, 2009.
