Next Steps for New Students
Congratulations on your acceptance to one of Hawai'i Pacific University's graduate programs or certificate programs! Please refer to the checklist below to assist you before arriving on campus! Review your Acceptance Packet
An acceptance packet will be mailed to you upon admission. Inside you will find information on your HPU ID#, e-mail account information, and Pipeline account access.

Confirm your Intent to Enroll
Pay your $200 Registration Deposit. The $200 non-refundable registration deposit will be credited towards your tuition. Once you pay the deposit, you will be issued authorization for web registration by email. Only students who have paid their registration deposit will be issued a Time Ticket, which is an invisible pass to register.
Only those students who have paid their registration deposit will be e-mailed their authorization to Web register which is also referred to as their Time Ticket. It may take up to five minutes to process your payment and issue your time ticket to register. You will not be able to register until it is processed.
How to pay your Registration Deposit:
- Online through your Pipeline Account - you received your username and password in your official acceptance package.
- By credit card: Complete and submit the Authorization to Charge form (Total Charge Amount = $200.00) and fax to (808) 566-2498 or e-mail from your my.hpu.edu e-mail (HPU student) account, or by calling the Center for Graduate and Adult Services (808-543-8034)
- By check (U.S. banking institutions only): Deliver to the Center for Graduate and Adult Services - 1164 Bishop St, Suite 911 or Mail it to: Center for Graduate and Adult Services, 1164 Bishop Street, Ste. 911, Honolulu, HI 96813

- Finalize your Financial Aid and Scholarship Awards
Financial Aid: Domestic students are encouraged to apply for government Financial Aid through FAFSA. To learn more, click here.
Scholarships: HPU offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified applicants. To learn more about these scholarships, click here.
If you have been awarded a Scholarship from HPU, it is important that you inform us if you are accepting the award. - Submit Final Transcripts
If you have not submitted a final official transcript, showing the award of a baccalaureate degree, please submit one. If your former institution does not have an online transcript request process, you may use our Transcript Request Form
- Reserve your seat for Orientation
Orientation is held the Friday before classes begin in the Spring and Fall Semester terms.

Adhere to State Health Requirements
The state of Hawai'i requires all students enrolling at HPU to provide proof of two doses of the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) immunization and a valid TB test taken within the last year in the United States.

Enroll in Student Health Insurance
Students attending HPU are strongly encouraged to have health insurance. International students are required to have Health Insurance, or a waiver must be submitted, click here to learn more.
