Marley Irons Memorial Scholarship
Description and Eligibility Requirements: This scholarship is given by Richard and Anne Palma in memory of their daughter, Marley Irons, a former nursing student at HPU. The scholarship is awarded to students in the Nursing program. Preference is given to those planning to work in intensive care units or in pediatrics. Applicants must complete a minimum of 61-89 credit hours with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA, demonstrate financial need, have a record of community service, and an interest in service to children and youth.
Scholarship Value: Up to $1,500 awarded to each recipient

HPU reserves the right to cancel, reduce, or substitute an institutional scholarship. HPU scholarships that pay institutional costs, such as tuition, will be reduced in the case where a student receives other direct tuition benefits from an outside source, such as, but not limited to, VA tuition benefits or employer tuition payments made directly to the institution. Tuition scholarships from all sources cannot exceed the cost of actual tuition, and must meet the terms of the specific scholarship.
