From East/Waikiki (from Kuhio Ave. via Ala Wai Blvd. and Kalakaua Ave.):

  1. Drive down any side street toward the Mountains until you reach Ala Wai Blvd. Turn LEFT on Ala Wai Blvd (One Way – Along Ala Wai Canal)
  2. Turn RIGHT at 2nd bridge onto Kalakaua Ave
  3. Keep right and continue on Kalakaua Ave. for 0.7 miles until you reach Beretania St. – One Way (Kalakaua will end at Beretania) and turn LEFT 
  4. Continue on Beretania St. for 1.8 miles
  5. On your Right, you will see a Honda Dealership. After this take the third RIGHT onto Nuuanu Ave
  6. Then, take first RIGHT onto Kukui Street
  7. Follow this street approximately 2/3 of the way down and enter the parking garage on the RIGHT across from the Long’s Drugs sign. You will see a small white sign with green letters on the RIGHT that says PARKING. Take ramp into structure which will turn down from street level
  8. Take a ticket at the gate and then park in an UNRESERVED stall on any level. We will validate your parking for Kukui parking garage, so PLEASE BRING YOUR TICKET WITH YOU TO THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE
  9. Take elevator to M1. Elevator is located towards the middle of the parking structure
  10. Exit elevator and walk past shops on LEFT to intersection of Fort Street and Beretania Street (by building KK on map below)
  11. Walk left (against traffic) down Beretania Street to intersection of Beretania and Pali Hwy/Bishop St.
  12. Turn right and cross Beretania Street. Continue down ½ of a block to 1164 Bishop Street – Finance Factors Center, the 2nd building on the RIGHT across from the Hawaiian Telecom building
  13. Enter the Building, take elevator to 2nd floor, and proceed to the Office of Admissions

From East/Waikiki (via Ala Moana Blvd.):

  1. Drive EAST on Ala Moana Blvd towards the ocean, passing Ala Moana Center on your way to Downtown Honolulu
  2. Continue for 2.2 miles on Ala Moana Blvd. until you reach Downtown Honolulu
  3. Take a RIGHT onto Alakea Street and follow this for 0.5 miles until you reach Beretania Street
  4. Take a LEFT on Beretania Street (One Way). Get into the Right Lane
  5. On your Right, you will see a Honda Dealership. After this take the third RIGHT onto Nuuanu Ave
  6. Then, take first RIGHT onto Kukui Street

From West/Honolulu International Airport/North Shore via H-2:

  1.  Take H-1 EAST towards HONOLULU
  2. Exit PALI HWY - DOWNTOWN (via exit #21A)
  3. When you pass intersection of Vineyard Blvd and Pali Hwy, (Longs & Safeway will be on your right) get into far Right Lane, which turns into Fort Street
  4. Take RIGHT on Kukui Street
  5. Take immediate LEFT into Kukui parking garage
  6. Take a ticket at the gate and then park in an UNRESERVED stall on any level. We will validate your parking for Kukui parking garage, so PLEASE BRING YOUR TICKET WITH YOU TO THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE
  7. Take elevator to M1. Elevator is located towards the middle of the parking structure
  8. Exit elevator and walk past shops on LEFT to intersection of Fort Street and Beretania Street (by building KK on map below)

  1. Take PALI HWY towards HONOLULU

By Taxi

  1. Since Bishop Street is a no stopping or loading zone, please ask the taxi to take you to the corner of Fort Street and Beretania Street. This is the location of the HPU Shuttle Stop beside the KK building on the campus map (you will see green benches)
  2. Walk left (against traffic) down Beretania Street to intersection of Beretania and Pali Hwy/Bishop St
  3. Turn right and cross Beretania Street. Continue down ½ of a block to 1164 Bishop Street – Finance Factors Center, the 2nd building on the RIGHT across from the Hawaiian Telecom building
  4. Enter the Building, take elevator to 2nd floor, and proceed to the Office of Admissions

By Bus from Waikiki

  1. Take the Route #2 (School St/Middle St) or #13 (Liliha—Puunui Avenue) bus line which runs along Kuhio Avenue in Waikiki and travels westbound into Downtown Honolulu
  2. Exit the bus at the Hotel Street & Bishop Street bus stop (if the bus is announcing stops, it will say Hawai’i Pacific University)
  3. Upon exiting the bus walk to your right towards the corner of Hotel & Bishop Street
  4. Make a left onto Bishop Street and walk along sidewalk one block (you will be walking in the opposite direction of traffic and will pass establishments such as: Royal Hawaiian Jewelry, Leo’s Taverna, and finally, Ninja Sushi near the traffic light)
  5. After passing the traffic light, on your LEFT will be the UB Building (1164 Bishop St/Finance Factors Center)
  6. Enter the Building, take elevator to 2nd floor, and proceed to the Office of Admissions
