SpiritClub

The HPU Spirit Club is comprised of energetic and motivated students who are responsible for promoting athletic teams and supporting University activities.

The purpose of Spirit Club is to:

  • Create school spirit, pride, and loyalty.
  • Promote University activities and support athletic events.
  • Develop effective communication, leadership skills, collaboration, meaningful interpersonal relationships, and social responsibility.
  • Build community and foster teamwork.

Spirit Club consists of over 200 students. This large group of students is divided into three groups and each group is led by a Coordinator. Coordinators tend to be upper-class students who have experience in Spirit Club and who are willing and capable of managing additional responsibilities and holding their peers accountable to the Spirit Club responsibilities. The 2010-2011 Spirit Club Coordinators are:
