What is MAPS?: MAPS encompasses a number of undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student run chapters nationwide. MAPS serves to extend the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) mission to the pre-medical community.

Our Mission: To provide support, advice and knowledge to all pre-health students here at HPU while focusing on underrepresented groups in the medical field. Our members will receive skills and experience that are both prerequisite for entrance to medical school and also serve as the foundation for a life in the health care field. A concentration will be put on improving minority matriculation into all health-related professional programs. Everyone will receive encouragement and camaraderie while partaking in medically-related events, study sessions and community service projects with others who share the same passion to pursue a career in medicine.
