There are different ways in which students can search for off-campus housing: Hawaii Student Housing, HPU Pipeline Electronic Advertisements (eAds) and rental Websites. Before you get your heart set on where you want to live, become familiar with the different areas and neighborhoods of the island following a map of O'ahu.

The various properties and options are not university housing and they are not operated by HPU. Some of the properties offer a more traditional college living arrangement with Resident Advisors and residential programming, with a front desk and more structured security arrangements. Some of the private rental units/apartments offer traditional apartment living with limited amenities and involvement of host property/residential managers.

We try to summarize and provide some information on these properties to assist students; however, the information may not be up to date and may have some changes. Students are encouraged to do their own research and choose the living arrangements which best match their needs and individual lifestyle.

Hawaii Student Housing: Hawaii Student Housing is THE student housing company for students. eAds (electronic advertisements) on HPU Pipeline features listings for apartments, rooms for rent, and fellow HPU students looking for roommates. The individuals listed on eAds know they are advertising to HPU students so it is often the best place to start your search in addition to the classified section of the newspaper. Students, faculty, staff and landlords/property owners can post free advertisements in eAds to post vacancies/information.
