Testing Services - Overview
Hawai'i Pacific University students may be required to take placement tests before registering for certain classes. The Center for Academic Success (CAS) offers different testing services for on-campus students.
- Placement testing in English (writing), math, computer science, modern languages,
- College Level Exam Program (CLEP), and
- Proctored testing for students who are eligible for ADA accommodations.
Students taking a placement test on-campus should read "All About the Placement Tests," which can be accessed by clicking on the link on the right side of this screen. This publication includes desriptions of HPU's placement tests for English, math, computer science, modern languages, BUS 5000, BUS 5100, BUS 5200 and MGMT 6100. Placement testing appointments can be scheduled by contacting an HPU Academic Advisor.
