Meet Your Student Government
The Hawai'i Pacific University Student Government Association (SGA) is your student governing body. Every registered HPU student taking at least one credit is a constituent of the SGA.
We encourage all students to attend weekly meetings of the Student Senate and to voice your comments and concerns to the student Senators who represent you.
SGA is comprised of the Executive Branch, Student Senate, and Student Judicial Council. For more information, please visit the individual pages of each branch.
The SGA office is located at ATM in Suite 1407, 1 Aloha Tower Dr. Come visit, or attend a Student Senate Meeting scheduled on Fridays during the fall and spring semeters between 3:00-5:00pm in Multipurpose room 1 at ATM. Professional Etiquette Dinner Seminar
Student Government Association invites you to display your good taste! You are invited to attend SGA’s Professional Etiquette Dinner Seminar from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, at Café Julia. Hawaii’s renowned presentation coach Pam Chambers will teach you proper business etiquette in social situations. This event allows students to pick up pointers for avoiding social gaffes during such common business situations as mealtime interviews and meetings. Students attending the Professional Etiquette Dinner Seminar must register in advance and will be received on a first come, first served basis. Attire is business casual, however, formal wear is enouraged. Space is limited, so immediate registration is encouraged. Event cost is $5 per student, sorry no guests. To RSVP, click here.
On-campus Study Spaces - Tell us what you think! The Student Government Association (SGA) is currently gathering data in regards to usage of various study spaces at HPU. SGA will use this information to get a better understanding of how, why, and when study spaces are used on campus. The poll will take approximately two minutes to complete. Please click on this link to provide your opinion. The poll will close on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. All responses are anonymous. No identifying information will be collected.
