The University
Hawai'i Pacific University is an independent, not-for-profit, coeducational, nonsectarian, career-oriented post secondary institution founded in 1965.

Accreditation and Memberships
Hawai'i Pacific University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the National League for Nursing. HPU is also a member of many nationally recognized groups including the National League of Nursing, and the Executive MBA Council.

Location
With two campuses linked by shuttle, HPU combines the excitement of an urban downtown campus with the serenity of a residential campus set in the green foothills of the windward side of the island.

Academic Degrees
HPU offers over 50 concentrations for undergraduate degrees, and 11 graduate degree programs.

ELS Language Center at HPU
The ELS Language Centers (ELS) at HPU provides intensive English training, semi-intensive English training and their American Explorer program on HPU’s downtown Honolulu campus.

Special Emphasis
HPU focuses on teaching students life-long skills by providing internships and work in career-related fields through the Career Services Center (CSC).

Facilities
With high-tech computer labs and executive classrooms, HPU students have some of the best and newest technology at their fingertips.

Activities
Besides the beautiful beaches and active night-life, HPU's students have many activities to choose from. Students can choose to participate in
the many clubs and campus organizations and activities that are sponsored by the Student Life Office.

A School of Champions!
HPU offers a competitive athletic program with ten mens and/or womens varsity teams including tennis, basketball, baseball, and golf, among others. Both HPU's Cheerleading Squad and HPU's Dance Team have received national championship titles.
