“The Holiday Bazaar is so festive and since we are far away from home and family members it is nice to have an event like this.  I enjoyed promoting my country and letting people know what is really going on there.  A lot of people don’t know that Malaysia is a multicultural nation like Hawai`i.”

“My favorite thing about the HPU Holiday Bazaar I that it gives every culture on our own very diverse campus a chance to teach fellow students about their individual cultures.”

Bree’Ana Vellalos
Christian Fellowship

“As a Christian club we have the opportunity to tell others what we’re about.  We really like the emphasis on Christ at Christmas and not calling it a holiday or xmas but emphasizing what it is really about.”

“My favorite thing about Holiday Bazaar is the congregation of all of the countries displaying their own booths, so it’s very festive in their own unique and individual ways.”

“ Everyone is showing their holidays and traditions and it’s very colorful.  There are people from all over the world and I think that it’s very interesting to see how other cultures celebrate the holidays.  I think it’s important to share with everyone at HPU.”
