Spring 2011 Honors Course Listing

This schedule is subject to revision.  Please call Lisa Ishikuro (808-687-7015) or Chez Neilson (808-687-7037) if you have any questions.   Email honors@hpu.edu.  Courses with “H” section designation are only for students admitted to the University Scholars Program.  Other courses are open to the general student population.  US students may be expected to submit additional coursework or presentations.  Senior seminar, other seminars, or major capstone courses may count towards the Certificate of Merit requirement – check with the Honors Program Office for confirmation.  Students are expected to offer a 15 minute presentation of their research during the semester.  Concurrent graduate courses may also count towards fulfilling an honors course requirement.  Courses listed with a section number “1, 1W, 2, 3…” are offered at the Hawaii Loa Campus.  Courses with an alpha section “A, B, C, D, H…” are offered at the downtown campus.
