Lambda Pi Eta National Honor Society

LPE

Purpose: To recognize, foster, and reward outstanding scholastic achievement; to stimulate interest in the field of communication; and to promote and encourage professional development among communication majors.

Eligible undergraduate candidates must:

  • Be enrolled full time in the bachelor of science program, majoring in corporate communications, or
  • Be enrolled full time in the bachelor of arts program, majoring in advertising, communication, journalism, multimeida, public relations, speech, or visual communications.
  • Have completed 60 semester credit-hours.
  • Have a minimum cumulative HPU GPA of 3.0 for all courses taken.
  • Have completed 12 semester credit-hours in communication courses.
  • Have a minimum HPU GPA of 3.25 for all communication courses.
  • Be enrolled as a student in good standing, as determined by the universities policies.

Eligible graduate candidates must:

  • Be enrolled full time in the master of arts program, majoring in communication.
  • Have completed 12 hours of graduate-credit hours in communication.
  • Have a minimum cumulative HPU GPA of 3.5 for all courses taken.
  • Be enrolled as a student in good standing, as determined by the universities policies.

Membership fee of $50 to be paid upon notification of acceptance.
