The William E. and Dawn G. Aull Award for Leadership

The William E. and Dawn G. Aull Award for Leadership recognizes one undergraduate student whose exemplary leadership has been a significant and positive influence within the University community. A $1,500 award and an award plaque will be made to one recipient.
Criteria to be considered:
-Minimum 3.4 GPA and in good academic standing
-Full-time, degree seeking, undergraduate student (minimum of 3 semesters at HPU)
-Demonstrated leadership through involvement in University and/or community organizations.
The award honors William and Dawn Aull, who have provided leadership, financial support, and active participation to a wide range of community organizations. Their role in the community has enhanced many areas, including the arts, education, and business. Nominations will be accepted from staff, faculty, self-nominated students, alumni, or other students. It is both an honor and a privilege to be nominated. Letters of recommendation are not necessary at this time. Once nominated for the award we will contact the student. Each nominee will be required to complete a packet which will be utilized by the selection committee during the candidate’s individual interview. For the packet, the student will be asked to obtain letters of recommendation and other information relevant to the award.

Nomination deadline: closed
A selection committee composed of various HPU directors, deans, and vice presidents will review the nominations and nomination packets, conduct panel interviews, and make the final selection to determine the award recipient in each category.
