HPU’s Club Carnival kept Fort Street Mall busy with activity Jan. 27. |
HONOLULU — The first week of Hawai‘i Pacific University’s spring semester ended with a bang. The national award-winning HPU Cheer and Dance teams performed at Fort Street Mall, as part of the spring Club Carnival and Pep Rally Jan. 27.
HPU’s Registered Student Organizations displayed a diversity of interests at the Club Carnival to potential members. Students manned decorated booths for clubs focusing on business, chemistry, education, law, cultures and more on campus.
A live performance from the Sea Warrior Band and a pep rally featuring members from HPU’s spring sports teams rounded out the day.
HPU’s Center for Student Life and First-Year Programs coordinated the welcoming activities on the Windward and Downtown campuses, including a free lunch on the first day of the semester. The activities also included an ice cream social, musical entertainment and more.
