HPU holds Holiday Bazaar

Sharky joins the winners of the annual Holiday Bazaar booth contest at Fort Street Mall Dec. 2. Taking first place was the Chemistry Club, second the Canadian Club, and third the Korean Student Organization. Bazaar visitors could learn about holiday and ethnic traditions from around the world.

HONOLULU — Hawai‘i Pacific University’s International Center held its 7th annual International Holiday Bazaar at Upper Fort Street Mall Dec. 2.

The colorful event exhibited traditions from around the world at several student booths. The booths also were judged for their creativity, with the Chemistry Club, Canadian Club, and Korean Student Organization taking first, second and third place, respectively.

 Afterward, Marines picked up toys collected by HPU’s International Club for the Toys for Tots holiday campaign.
