A Very Special Viewpoints: My Koaloha Story (with Live Music & Free Pizza!)
My Koaloha Story is a Made in Hawaii 'talk story' style documentary-music film about a family owned ukulele business and their special brand of old school Aloha. What was once a failed plastics business in the midst of bankruptcy is transformed into one of the most highly regarded and beloved ukulele companies in the world, KoAloha Ukulele. (2011, 74 minutes)
Screenings in Warmer Auditorium (floor PH, LB building, 1060 Bishop St.)
Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 3pm
and Friday, Feb. 24 at 5:30pm
Friday’s showing includes free pizza, a live performance by blues ukulele artist Jason Arimoto, and a discussion led by members of the Koaloha family.
