Common Core at a Glance
We continually update the general education program. This page includes all the courses that have been approved as part of the general education common core, and indicates the semester in which they were added to the program for courses recently approved. Students who enrolled under a catalog term before a particular course was approved should consult with an academic advisor if they want to use a recently approved course. The advisor can review options, such as switching to a more recent catalog term or petitioning to substitute the new course for one included in the older program.
The choices below apply to the Associate of Arts in General Studies and to all majors except Nursing. Nursing majors have more specific requirements
