Registering for classes can be an exciting process full of options and opportunities.  Academic Advisors are available to help you.  Get a good start by contacting an advisor today. Visit  Academic Advising & Personal Counseling.

Read the New Student’s Guide to Registration
The New Student's Guide to Registration provides all the necessary information to register for your classes. Follow the four simple steps and your journey to HPU will go more smoothly.

Math and English Placement Tests
In your acceptance packet, you will receive notification about whether or not you are required to take a placement test. Taking a placement test enables us to determine which courses you need in order to progress and succeed in your studies. Prior to making an appointment for a placement test, you will need the Testing Authorization form from your Academic Advisor.

Select Your Classes
Your Academic Advisor can help you select your courses, but consider these options and resources for first-year student. 

Register for Classes with an Academic Advisor 
Fill out registration forms, discuss degree programs, choose classes and create a schedule with an Academic Advisor. Academic Advising has numerous resources for students, including How to Register for Classes Online.  Appointments, walk-ins, and phone appointments are accepted at both campuses.  For more information, contact Academic Advising at 1-808-544-1198.

Participate in a STARS Event
Student Transition Advising and Registration (STARS) is for new Undergraduate students to receive academic advice and create their initial course selection. Contact your Academic Advisor or visit the STARS webpage for more information.

Webinar: How to Register Online Using HPU Pipeline - Join us online for this information session about registration and preparations for the fall semester.

Reginar: Join HPU staff online for a LIVE webinar to learn about registration for classes.  This session will provide you with an overview of the navigation and tools of HPU Pipeline for course registration.  We will show you  the necessary steps to review your degree plan, search for available courses and complete your online registration process.
