Transcultural Nursing Certificate
The Certificate in Transcultural Nursing is intended for the nursing student &/or RN or LPN who is interested in enriching their understanding and application of Transcultural Nursing in order to become better equipped to provide culturally competent nursing care. The Transcultural Nursing Certificate program includes foundational theory and concepts of Transcultural Nursing as well as application to the diverse cultures of Hawaii, and to one specific culture experienced through study and cultural immersion. Supplemental courses will examine cultural diversity.
Transcultural Nursing Certificate Requirements
The student will complete 13 credits as designated below, to complete the certificate.
