     Dr. Gordon Jones has been an information systems professional for more than thirty-five years. He has been the senior systems engineer for the development of a wide array of complex computer and telecommunications systems for the Los Alamos National Laboratories, the U.S. Department of Defense, numerous multi-national corporations and foreign governments. 

      A former Academic Dean of Hawaii Pacific College, Dr. Jones has also taught at Carnegie-Mellon, Georgetown, the University of California, and the University of New Mexico. He received his doctorate from the University of New Mexico, masters degree from the University of Hawaii, and bachelor's degree from the United States Naval Academy.

      Dr. Jones is the creator of the Master of Science in Information Systems degree program at HPU. His current research focuses on the impact of technology on the culture, structures and functions of multinational corporations. He teaches: strategic planning, software engineering, knowledge management, and business intelligence.
