Dr. KO is a professor of political science and international affairs at HPU. He received MA and Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania. He holds BA from the College of Wooster. He is a recipient of the Lincoln Prize. He has published over 40 articles; some of them appeared in Pacific Affairs, Modern Asia Studies and Journal of Asian Business. His books include: Questions Foreigners Ask About America (Sentia, 2011) and U.S. Foreign Policy—Doctrines (Sentia 2015).
Previously, he held professorial positions at HanKuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul National University, and Lake Superior College of MTU. He also served as a research commissioner at the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs and VIP interpreter at the U.S. State Department.
