Seung-Kyun Ko, Ph.D.

Dr. Ko teaches courses on the American political system, comparative politics, major Asian political systems, East Asian international relations, and international relations. He serves on the editorial board of the Collegiate Press, Korea Observer, and the Korea Forum. His articles have appeared in Pacific Affairs and Modern Asian Studies. Dr. Ko teaches courses on the American political system, comparative politics, major Asian political systems, East Asian international relations, and international relations. He facilitated the participation of HPU students in an academic seminar conducted by Ambassador Richard L. Walker on the Role of China in East Asia sponsored by the East-West Center. Previously, he served as research commissioner at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea and VIP interpreter at the U.S. State Department.
