Undergraduate Certificate in TESOL

The Undergraduate Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate Program at Hawai'i Pacific University is designed for:

  • students who have completed a bachelor's degree
  • classroom teachers of English as a second or foreign language who need a refresher curriculum to upgrade their teaching skills
  • college graduates who wish to enter the field of TESOL but do not wish to get a second bachelor's degree or go on to the graduate level
  • students who wish to prepare for graduate work in TESOL or linguistics
