See His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Amnesty International USA invites you to join a very special event as part of our year-long 50th Anniversary celebration.

On May 4th, 2011 Amnesty International USA will present His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, with the first Shine a Light on Human Rights award in recognition of His Holiness' lifelong commitment to social justice and human rights. His Holiness will deliver a keynote address following the award presentation by Amnesty International USA Executive Director Larry Cox.

The event will be held at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, California from 9:45am - 1:00pm.
