Hawai‘i Pacific Review, Hawai‘i Pacific University’s annual literary magazine, features poetry and prose by authors from Hawai‘i, the mainland, and around the world. When they take WRI 3390, Literary Magazine, which is offered both spring and fall terms, students serve as staff editors who determine the editorial content of the magazine. They evaluate and discuss the numerous submissions received, correspond with established writers, and write book reviews to be published in the magazine. In addition, they gain hands-on desktop publishing experience by working on the layout and editing of the magazine.
