School of Education: Future Educators Association

FEAWhat is FEA?

The Future Educators Association, sponsored by Phi Delta Kappa International, is an international network of nearly 1,000 chapters. The international FEA office links these chapters together by hosting an annual conference, offering advisor training sessions, publishing monthly newsletters for advisors, and maintaining a website with updated information about what chapters are doing. Through PDK, FEA also offers scholarships to prospective educators.

What is FEA's Mission?

FEA's mission is to provide students with opportunities to explore careers in education. Through participation in an FEA chapter, students will gain a realistic understanding of the education profession and the role of the teacher.

Who can become a member of FEA?

Because FEA is a chapter-based organization, HPU students may join the HPU Chapter of FEA. FEA members include advisors and interested individuals in the field of education, college faculty, and teacher educators.
