M.Ed. in Elementary Education: Mentor Teachers

mentorThe HPU School of Education works collaboratively with with mentor teachers who guide HPU teacher candidates in completing field and clinical experiences at partner schools.  During these field experiences, mentor teachers conduct regular observations and evaluations of teacher candidate performance, and they support teacher candidates through shared writing, reflection, and discussion. Mentor teachers provide teacher candidates with educational experiences that assist in their development and application of knowledge and skills needed to continue their growth and development as professional educators.
