Dr. LeDoux has taught English, Humanities, and writing at the University of Oregon, West Oahu College, three Hawaii community colleges, and the University of Hawaii-Manoa, where he was director of a "small college" experimental program. He has owned and operated Ad Pro Hawaii, his own advertising and public relations agency, and he has been a contributing editor of Hawaii magazine and managing editor of Artists in Paradise, the Waikiki Beach Press and Oahu Island News.
Dr. LeDoux has been an assistant professor of the College of Communication at HPU since the early 1990's. He developed and teaches the journalism curriculum and is faculty editor for Kalamalama, the award-winning university newspaper. He is well known for his reviews of Hawaii restaurants and for his performances with various community theatre groups, most recently as Matthew Brady in Inherit the Wind at the HPU theatre. He lives on a farm in Kahalu'u where, with his wife, he raises exotic birds: parrots, cockatoos, and macaws.
