Daryl Orris, Ph.D. teaches Advertising and Public Relations specializing in Integrated Brand Promotion.
Dr. Orris was the President & CEO, Chief Creative Officer, of two Advertising Agencies: AdWorks L.P., San Francisco, California, and Viking Creative Concepts, Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota – working with international corporate clients. He served as Director of Communication for the Crimson China Cultural Exchange Foundation, Ltd., Hong Kong, SAR CHINA, and as Director of Communication for Reach for a Rainbow, Organ Transplantation Foundation, in association with the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is the Chairman of The Ice Cream Bar, Inc., a company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA that conducts international business.
Dr. Orris was Professor (Visiting Scholar) of Public Relations and Advertising at Hong Kong Baptist University; Research Associate, Evaluation Methodology & Techniques, at the University of California at Berkeley; and, Teaching Assistant, Studio Arts, at the University of Minnesota.
He was Propaganda Display Officer, United States 5th Army, 360th Psychological Operations Unit, Media and Public Relations Group, with Diplomas for Public Relations and Psychological Operations. Honorably discharged as First Lieutenant.
