Inspired by HPU Courses and Professors: Alumni in National Geographic Grant Finals
HPU Faculty Ken Schoolland, M.S.F.S, associate professor of economics Angela Costanzo, Ph.D., and Regina Ostergaard-Klem, Ph.D., are recognized by Emily MacNintch (BA Environmental Studies ’14) and Nicholas Holvik (BSBA Economics ’14). Emily and Nick attribute the inspiration for the creation of their innovative humanitarian project to HPU experiences and connections and shared this with President Bannister who posts in his blog about it here. During orientation week students, faculty and staff enjoyed many
activities such as cleaning up a local beach and a welcome reception.
