Diversity MBA Magazine Names 9th Annual Top 100 Under 50 Emerging Leaders

Joy Barua, MBA, MA-OC, has been named as one of Diversity magazine's "Top 100 Under 50 Emerging Leaders."  This national recognition is conferred to MBAs with a diverse portfolio of leadership and community accomplishments preceded by a competitive nationwide selection process.  Barua received his MBA from HPU and is the first person from Hawaii to ever make the list!

Associate Professor

Dr. Thomas Kohler, Associate Professor of Marketing and co-authors receives a certificate from the Emerald Group Publishing for achieving over 25,000 downloads.  Kohler’s jointly-authored paper, "Business model innovation: coffee triumphs for Nespresso”, published in the Journal of Business Strategy, volume 34, issue 2 (2013), has been downloaded over 25,000 times since publication.  An Emerald representative shared that it is the highest downloaded article since the Journal of Business Strategy first published in 1980.
