Wazha Dube (BSBA TIM '05), co-founder of Young Travel Professionals are hosting a conference next month called TravelFutureLab, an interactive think tank/conference focusing on the next generation of travel professionals and travelers.  Young Travel Professionals is the largest networking organization for travel professionals.

Two alumni honored as ‘40 under 40’ leaders by Guam Business Magazine
E.J. Calvo
(MBA Marketing ’01) and Michelle Kramer (BSBA Management ’05) were selected to Guam Business Magazine’s 2014 “40 under 40” list. Calvo is GM of Tropical Productions Inc., Mid Pacific Distributors Inc. and Island Wines & Spirits Inc., and Kramer is Managing Director of Pacific International (Guam) Inc.

Ken Rossi, Ed.D., and Larry Rowland, Ed.D., presented papers co-authored by College of Business (COB) faculty members, Dean and the State of Hawai‘i on the partnership with the O.I.M. and T.T.I.P. and HPU’s MSIS and MBA programs. Professor of Hospitality & Tourism Management on the Great Aloha Run and sports tourism (Hawaii News Now Sunrise)

Jerry Agrusa, Ph.D., was interviewed by Howard Dicus in advance of Monday’s Great Aloha Run. Agrusa refers to the concept of event affinity and the draw to Hawai‘i over other destinations with sun, sand and sea — aloha spirit and the Hawaiian culture. Watch the broadcast clip here.
