In compliance with the "Timely Notice" provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, Campus Security is giving notice of an act of an incident that occurred at the HPU Downtown Campus.
REPORTED OFFENSE: An HPU employee on 4-29-15 at 7:30 am was walking fronting 1066 Bishop Street when approached by an unknown male. The male attempted to grab and hug the employee who pushed him off. The male immediately left the area and was seen walking toward Hotel Street. The Honolulu Police Department was contacted and an investigation was initiated.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: The suspect is described as an African-American male, mid 30s, dark complexion, Black hair, Unknown color eyes, 5’7”, 180-190 lbs., Beard and Moustache, wearing a black t shirt with unknown print, khaki shorts, black socks and dark shoes. The male appears to have an arm band on his right wrist and is known to walk around with blue head phones.
Be cognizant of your surroundings and if anything suspicious, please report to HPU security or the Honolulu Police Department.
