In compliance with the "Timely Notice" provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, Campus Security is giving notice of an act of an incident that occurred at the HPU Downtown Campus. 

REPORTED OFFENSE: On September 14th 2014 at approximately 8:00am a male approached a Female HPU student at the Beretania St Shuttle stop. The male touched and attempted to hug the female student.  The female student immediately contacted HPU Security, who detained the male and contacted the Honolulu Police Department. The Honolulu Police Department responded and the male was subsequently arrested for Harassment.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: The male is described as 5’6, 140lbs with blond hair and a slight mustache. He is approximately 25 to 26 years old and is slightly dirty in appearance. HPU Security has identified the male and will continue to be vigilant for any future activities. 

Be cognizant of your surroundings and if anything suspicious, please report to HPU security or the Honolulu Police Department.
