In compliance with the "Timely Notice" provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, Campus Security is giving notice of an act of a suspicious male in the area of the LB Building, 1060 Bishop Street
REPORTED OFFENSE: A male entered the LB Building at 1060 Bishop Street on 3-13-14 at 5:25 pm informing security he was a student but no HPU student identification card was produced. The male was allowed access. The same male left the building on 3-13-14 at 7:00 pm and returned shortly thereafter. Male was argumentative, did not produce an HPU identification card and entry was denied. Male left the area on Bishop Street. Through investigation with faculty members, male was not recognized as a student. The male is described as African American, 6’1” to 6’2”, 185 to 190 lbs, dark complexion, wearing a blue sweater with unknown logo, baseball cap, blue shorts and dark athletic shoes. LB Security is aware of male and entry will not be allowed unless a student identification is produced.
Be cognizant of your surroundings and if anything suspicious, please report to HPU security or the Honolulu Police Department.
