In compliance with the "Timely Notice" provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, Campus Security is giving notice of an act of an incident that occurred at the HPU Downtown Campus.
REPORTED OFFENSE: On November 4, 2014 at 11:50 am, a female student of Hawaii Pacific University was walking on Fort Street Mall in the east direction toward the MP Building. An unknown male approached her and was not appropriate in his conversation. The student continued walking toward the MP Building and reported the incident to HPU Security. HPU Security made checks of the area but was unable to locate the suspect. The male was last seen walking toward Hotel Street.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: The male is described as Caucasian, 25-27 years, 5’5” – 5’6” in height, slim build, clean shaven, wearing a green t-shirt and unknown color pants.
Be cognizant of your surroundings and if anything suspicious, please report to HPU security or the Honolulu Police Department.
