About HPU

Alumni

HPU students come from around the world, so it’s not surprising that there are HPU alumni chapters around the world in which our graduates network. Having awarded more than 30,000 degrees since 1965, HPU has a number of successful alumni. Here are a few of the most recent ones:

Tetsuro Hirose

Tetsuro Hirose, 2009 B.S.B.A. in International Relations, now works with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Tetsuro believes the skills he acquired at HPU enabled him to begin his career at his first choice company.

Ashley Morgan

Ashley Morgan, 2006 B.A. in Justice Administration, is currently working as a paralegal for Honolulu law firm Badger, Arakaki, LLC. Ashley is thankful for the assistance from HPU’s Careers Services Center, which directed her to the paralegal field.

Olena Heu

Olena Heu, 2007 B.A. in Communication, is now Morning Show Anchor for KHON2TV, the FOX affiliate in Hawai‘i. Olena discovered her love for journalism in doing an internship required for the communication program.

Nash Subotic

Nash Subotic, 2003 MBA in Finance, is President & CEO of Wealth Strategy Partners LLC. He has been able to grow his business, even in tough economic times, and mainly employs HPU graduates.

Marissa Sandblom

Marissa Sandblom, 2001 MBA in International Business, is Vice President of Kauai Grove Farm. Marissa notes that HPU’s MBA program goes well beyond others in its level of practicality.
